Welcome to The Blue P Program!
Most of us know that eventually we have to teach our kids to drive, but sometimes the thought feels us with dread, having to do 120 hours. I know, I hear you! It seems a very high number. But as we know, driving these days is a whole different ball game to when we learnt to drive. The distractions and road rage; just to name a couple.
As some of you may know, years ago I worked as licence tester and enjoyed the euphoria kid’s felt when they received the keys to their independence. I also remember the sheer frustration of watching some driving schools just teaching the kids the test routes and they just knew when to indicate or do a lane change. It was robotic. It annoyed me no end!
So, four years later, having watched kids come and go, I was again getting frustrated. The parents would book their kids in for lessons once they received their learners, have a few lessons, then go off with Mum and Dad, then come back for “tweaking” at the end. Sadly, this also resulted in the skills I had so heavily encouraged, disappeared as the parent’s bad habits became practice during the hours in between. Yes, some kids keep the good habits up, but many did not.
So, this is why The Blue P Program was born!
Wouldn’t it be great to have today’s skills up to date? We always up skill for our work life or join in with professional development. Why should updating your driving skills be any different? At Drive Skills 4 Life we will give you the tools to ensure these skills remain at the forefront of your driving – every day! You will be given a booklet with hints, tips and a checklist at every stage. Whether you purchase Stage 1 or all 4, it’s yours for the taking. Show your kids that updating your driving skills is important to them.
Another important factor to take into consideration is, how much has your child’s education cost over 12 years? I know myself it isn’t cheap but I also know the importance of a good education. Giving our kids the gift of education which allows them to flourish is a wonderful way to start their adult life. Why wouldn’t you do the same for your kids with driving? If you look at how often you drive, is it every day or every other day? Something that you will possibly do from the age of 18 until…
That’s definitely 50+ years. Also remembering, “it can kill”. Giving them the correct start in life – with the correct tools is a no brainer!
So how do we get started?
Do you want to give them the gift of great driving – and “safe” driving, or do you want to stay up at night wondering if they’re safe to drive home from that party? Make contact today for a confidential chat – no strings attached!
